LOST PASSPORT
Please be advised that the procedure for replacing a lost passport is as follows;
1. Provide a police letter indicating the loss of the passport.
2. Apply online via passports.go.ug for a new passport and indicate that it is lost in the application.
3. Make the necessary payments online.
4. Appear at the Embassy for an interview in order to attain a recommendation letter. Carry the following documents to the interview;
i. Passport application form
ii. Copy of the old passport (if available)
iii. Copy of page 45 of the passport (if available)
iv. Copy of the Ugandan national ID.
v. Police letter indicating loss of the passport
vi. Payment slips for the passport fees (if available)
vii. 4 passport size photographs
Please note;
1. When applying for the passport, you and your recommender are required to have a Ugandan national ID.
Recommender will be provided by the Embassy.
2. The Embassy does not charge any fee for the recommendation letter. It will only levy a fee in case you want the mission to assist you courier it to the relevant authorities in Uganda.
3. It is also important to inform your clients that the Ugandan Ministry of Internal Affairs has NOT resumed operations and therefore there will be a delay in issuance of the passports. Currently we advise that they apply but remain patient until such a time when the authorities are able to process all the passports.

طريقة استخراج جواز سفر بدل فاقد للجنسية الأوغندية
يرجى العلم بأن إجراءات استبدال جواز السفر المفقود هي كما يلي ؛
1. تقديم خطاب من الجوازات السعودية يوضح فقدان جواز السفر.
2. التقديم عبر الإنترنت عبر passports.go.ug للحصول على جواز سفر جديد وبيان فقدانه في التطبيق.
3. تسديد المدفوعات اللازمة عبر الإنترنت.
4. الحضور في السفارة في الرياض للمقابلة للحصول على خطاب توصية. احمل الوثائق التالية للمقابلة.
أولاً. استمارة طلب جواز سفر
ثانيا. نسخة من جواز السفر القديم (إن وجد)
ثالثا. نسخة من الصفحة 45 من جواز السفر (إن وجدت).
رابعًا. نسخة من بطاقة الهوية الوطنية الأوغندية.
خامساً. خطاب من الجوازات السعودية يوضح فقدان جواز السفر
سادسا. قسائم دفع رسوم جواز السفر (إن وجدت)
سابعا. 4 صور فوتوغرافية بحجم جواز السفر
يرجى الملاحظة؛
1. عند التقدم بطلب للحصول على جواز السفر ، يتعين عليك وعلى مقدم التوصية الحصول على بطاقة هوية أوغندية. ( سيتم توفير مقدم التوصية بواسطة السفارة )
2. لا تفرض السفارة أي رسوم على خطاب التوصية. سوف تفرض رسومًا فقط في حالة ما إذا كنت تريد أن تساعدك البعثة في إرسالها إلى السلطات المختصة في أوغندا.
3. من المهم أيضًا العلم أن وزارة الداخلية في أوغندا لم تستأنف العمل بسب كورونا، وبالتالي سيكون هناك تأخير في إصدار جوازات السفر. ننصح في الوقت الحالي بأن يتقدموا بطلبات ولكن يظلوا صبورين حتى الوقت الذي تكون فيه السلطات قادرة على معالجة جميع جوازات السفر.
